ihave a incap ben tribunal appeal this week as mentioned in another thread
entire history of problem is here http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=432481
but this is the other problem
The problem, it seems, is that the housing benefit from May 2006 (when I moved into the new house in May 2006 until mid October when my incapacity benefit was unfairly stopped benefits were stopped has still not been backdated. Despite the fact that I was told that when he provided proof of incapacity benefit from May 2006 to October 2006 he would be backdated. All I keep getting told is that it the issue has been sent to a different department and it has not been looked at yet but they will keep sending a memo.
Although I understand that I will receive no new housing benefit now nor have any current housing benefit backdated to October 2006 until incapacity benefit is reinstated (pending my appeal) I do not see how that they can delay on the housing benefit of May 2006 up until October 2006 since he has supplied proof to them ages ago (a letter from incapacity benefit proving I was in receipt of incapacity benefit during MAY til October 2006. This money owed could keep a roof over his head until everything else is resolved.

Give SHELTER a ring - they can usually get involved in cases like this:

You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset.
