Groupon Refund?

Not sure where else i could put this thread however i will put it as simple as i can as i could go off on one after this!
Emailed the company the offer was with asking about the process, received a very nice reply explaining everything, including heated needles were involved (this was not mentioned on the offer either, or the companies website)
Explain the process to the GP/Hospital at next appointment and was advised against using this or anything for mole removal because of past moles and the care i am currently under.
Email groupon asking about a possible refund, reply came saying that it was possible but i needed confirmation from the company first.
Send an email to the company polite explaining all this and asking if possible could assist me for a refund.
Harsh (in my view) email received back explaining that i have basically insulted her and was misleading. That she is insulted i would trust my GP/Hospital opinions over those of herself and that she would not assist me with a refund.
In the email she says that she is professional however not a doctor. Who in their right mind would trust a non medical opinion over the ones of the GP/Hospital.
I don't want to have to waste more time asking the GP for a letter explaining as this mole removal company (that i found out removes moles for as little as £20
) would simply say i needed her to confirm i was not suitable.
Any ideas where / if i can go from here?
Thanks.

Do you have any cancellation rights, what do the terms and conditions say? Are you contracted to Groupon or are they merely acting as an agent?
If you want to try to push it through by suggesting you will go to small claims you will need a letter from your hospital consultant saying the procedure is unsuitable/ unsafe, and you will likely have to pay for. Not sure a GP's letter would be sufficient, they are a generalist not a specialist, and you'd have to pay for that too.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -
I've just posted a gripe about Groupon too.
I think they need their own section!0
