advice needed please can you help me??

Hi everyone,

Just to let you know that for the time being I have been onto the step change website and filled out one of the debt remedy things.
It enabled me to download a debt remedy pack with some things which I can do now.
I will be ringing them on Friday morning whilst the children are at school and my husband is home so that I can have a good long chat and get some proper advice.

I've been there - fighting depression and trying to hold it all together with 2 young kids and a marriage break-up (hence the debt).

I'm 3-years down the line now since I declared myself bankrupt (in March) and although I still struggle a little with the fact that I had to declare myself bankrupt (pride) for me personally, it was the best decision I ever made.

The people that have posted on here to get some advice are right. Try to stay calm and focused, talk to people who know what they're talking about, ignore the people who don't (or worse, judge) and get a plan together for what you can do.

I can honestly say, from first-hand experience, you CAN get through this. It feels like you can't I know but you can. Promise.
