    Good morning all!

I'm quite pleased this morning. Went in to ToscoExpress and picked up some more 24xWeetabix as they were still marked at £1.25 which I thought was cheap even without ClickSnap etc, but they went through at £2.51. DTD thank you very much (with a little prodding), so I got paid 2p to buy them. Wish I had bought more now! but they have taken the label down. Maybe one to watch out for?

Edit: Actually scrap that, I get paid 52p as I can get the TCB 50p back as well :-)

    Morning mad squad,

If you try 4 and it doesn't work - forget your purse.
    Please thanks.

Further to my earlier question (and many thanks for the answers) I popped in to another store on my way home and just happened to find a whole section of Topside Beef joints marked up at £10 per kilo mixed in with others flashed at half price £5 per kilo. Yellow SEL on aisle end showed Topside was on half price offer. I cannot believe I picked up the wrong one ... so popped along to CS after checkout. After a while he offered to refund the difference, I mentioned DTD, he said he would have to speak to the manager. When he came back he said this particular Topside was not on offer as it was British Beef and the offer was on Irish Beef Topside. So far as I am aware (and I checked) it said Topside, no mention of Irish or British on the SEL? Anyway, I got a refund and left it there as I was getting nowhere and hadn't the time to argue.

So is this correct or have I been fobbed off twice today? Admittedly, buying a few in each store was probably pushing it as the DTD would equate to around £80, but the DTD policy applies in all circumstances of an overcharge or am I pushing my luck?

Has anyone been banned from store for DTD?

I feel like I lost my mojo today, I bought a few ICBINB and yoghurts to justify the petrol ;).

    Many thanks

i got 3 in each of 2 stores (1 was not a problem they know me and i point out alot of there price faults the other was like you had dint want to give dtd but did in the end when i mentioned head office)

Couldn't sleep :(. Unplugged my mobile which had been on charge and found a FB message from lady at dog rescue saying that Bess had settled in nicely with the lady who came to see her on Monday after falling in love with her photo, and that Molly was being rehomed, as I already knew from their website. A lovely family had come to see Molly and they got on well, they loved Molly and Molly responded lovely to them, so they are staying overnight then taking her home with them tomorrow to DORSET  The dogs are advertised countrywide through a national site as well as on their website, but it good to know that this family were willing to travel all that way to see her and take her home

I am happy that they both sound like they will be very well looked after in loving homes

I am so sad that I will never see them again and that I had to do this, but dogs adapt so well, and they will be happy, as will their new families, so all is good :D

And now, I am going to try to get to sleep - night night my lovelies

    Morning 3dogs.
Glad to hear your doggies have found some good families to go to. I'm sure they are going to be well loved and looked after. Defo bittersweet for you though. Hugs to you if you want them my lovely x
Morning Mrs Stinkface hope all well, and decorators are finished. is there any one direction mug eggs in our local please. might pop over today. thanks:rotfl::j

Morning hunny, I've no plans to go to sada today I'm afraid. I've only just enough time to squeeze in t's. I'm going tomorrow though if that's any help to you?

    I have some GOOD NEWS

Molly has been rehomed :j I don't know the details yet but she has gone from the list of dogs available and been added to the bottom of the list of recently rehomed dogs

Very sad but very pleased at the same time

Great to hear that both dogs are being rehomed :) I know it's a difficult time for you, but you did the right thing.

Can I ask you experts please?
I got a joint of beef yesterday - marked at £10 per kg instead of £5.
Same as the ones marked 1/2 price BUT the trout told me someone must have moved it so I could choose another or have a refund. As hubby had to go back to car as feeling ill & was more worried about him than having a DTD I reluctantly got a refund - the others didn't look like they had nice marbleing. ;) Looked on tesco.com and there are NO beef joints at £10kg so was a definite misprice.

    I intend ringing today - is it 0800 505 555?
Can anyone tell me what's the normal outcome? DTD or DTD and gift voucher because of inconvenience including the fact I have to go elsewhere to get Beef and we live in the sticks. Clubcard vouchers??

Have no idea what to expect as haven't accepted a refund before.
Should I add when on phone that I thought they gave DTD because they didn't want peeps to go to Trading Standards with a possible £2000+ fine.

I did get a 2xlamb DTD a couple of weeks back - presumably they'll see this so does this make a difference?

    dont worry just ring

ive had the lamb pork and beff last offer and now beef this offer (all different stores but a couple from the same one)
