well artha, all I will say is, glad u don't know what a party wall surveyor is or indeed what they do, shows u have not been done over by a nasty neighbour...when a neighbour tries to 'get their way' I stop them and I try to be the peacemaker, thats what I do:)
Imagine if your neighbour tried to encroach on your property, I would deal with it or indeed the other way round, if you were trying to build on your land, to the front of rear of your home and your neighbour was being an a$$ I'd sort them out:):eek:FunkyFeet:eek:Elite 5:2 #190 -

but am here and lurking...promise, not sleeping yet:):eek:FunkyFeet:eek:Elite 5:2 #190 -
fairclaire wrote: »oh I meant to say I loved your hydrangea post today. Top advice and written in a lovely way. I grow hydrangeas and I learned something.....I like the rusty nail tip
I learnt that from one of my older neighbours. Our local soil is alkaline so gives pink hydrangeas but I noticed that his were generally blue so asked if he fed them with acid loving plant feed or blueing agent. He said no he just sticks lots of old six inch nails in the ground around the base of the plant:)
I'm not sure it can completely blue them but can help. When I worked I used to be able to get aluminium sulphate from work which is one of the chemicals that will change them from pink to blue in alkaline soil.Awaiting a new sig0 -
