Good Morning it's a bit warmer here today. Off to the dentists in Chester for a check up later and a look around the shops.

Good luck at the dentist today emerald.

Thank you. I remember a few years ago coming from said dentist after a filling or something and one minute I was walking along the pavement and the next I was flat on my face. Must have tripped on a flagstone and didn t even have time to put my hands out . Good job I turned my head to the side.

Ok my Ts order has arrived and Im mighty confused.

It's slightly more than I expected but the discounts don't make any sense?

On the delivery note I have the following discounts :

    Spreads BOGOF c/f £1.80
    dairy products c/f £9.78
    Oykos BOGOF £2.19

I bought 6 ICBINB and 4 lots of the 4 pack yogs. So the total paid for that lot after the above discounts was £5.79. I don't get it but it was cheap enough for me to keep it :)

    Good morning

Just to confirm the new T PP till based model still recognises reduced items as the actual item but with the reduced price so don't include any in a targeted shop. I gave away a few pounds yesterday on a planned Silverside DTD shop as I included 2 for £1 veg (£1.78 in As) and reduced bakery :o. Schoolboy error, must try harder.

I did get free beef joints though so it could be worse ;). Is it just me who struggles to keep a straight face rather than a beaming smile while they explain DTD and that they are giving you some/all of your money back? I manage very well when they need reminding about DTD but not when they work it out - or is it the fact that they stand there calculating it when it should be half price, they charged you full price and it takes them a good few minutes with a calculator to work it out that they are giving you the receipt price as a refund :).
