Could be wrong but I dont think they are watching it live so to speak ;)
It would still take an age though wouldn't it? When I updated to Mountain Lion on the laptop estimated download time was 7 hrs plus, I had to leave it downloading overnight.
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

Boxes of 12 birds eye potatoe waffles were down to 80p in Ts today.

Quidco  you have got to watch em like a hawk. Latest thing they are doing with mine is paying for 1 less than actually bought. If I buy 3 they pay me for 2. If I buy 2 they pay for 1:mad:. I used to prefer quidco x
They have done this to me in the last week too. I emailed them and they corrected it.

I'm surprised you manage to download a film with that speed. I can't even watch something on BBC iplayer as it keeps buffering.

Does anyone know what I can do with a DVD of Toy Story 3?
We got it free and we already have a copy so it's still sealed in it's packaging.
I've been trying to find somewhere to get rid of it but I can't seem to find anything worth the hassle and trying to offload it onto my friends has so far not worked :D

Well I had a look at the alternatives and there arent any.

We are nowhere near Virgin fibre optics so we would end up with broadband down the phone line again.

I also had a look at BT infinity and that also is never going to happen and the 2 options they offered were gob smacking prices.

Also our phone line is not BT now we would have to pay £45 to switch

At the moment we are all sky - unlimited phone calls to geographical numbers for £5 a month, sky TV and one entertainment channel, unlimited broadband. I paid line rental upfront a year in advance so the monthly bill for everything now is about £40 (including the few non geographical calls, mobile numbers etc)
