Feeling left out so checked my emails and I also have cancelled mr shoes and cancelled BS orders :rotfl: Not too bothered, but would have liked some for my DD.

Had such a stressful week last week, glad it is over, won't go into it...this week started better as my brothers girlfriend had her identical twin girls on Monday, one was 5lb 10, other 4lb 6..Freya and Ellie. I went to visit and they are in the incubators but I didn't get to see them. The more I think about it, the more annoyed I get.
Got there at about ten to 7pm and visiting finished at 7pm. I had my DD with me and a nurse let us in with my brother, then we got stopped by another nurse and asked to put our coats in coat area..fair enough, but then get questioned as to how old my DD is and then told that she can't go in because she is 12 and only over 16's can go in, unless they are the babies brother or sister. So my DD starts crying in front of the nurse and starts walking out, so I walked out too, but so disappointed I didn't get to meet them. I do understand, but it was so quiet and I just think a bit of discretion? it wouldn't have hurt, what do they think she would have done? If I had known before going in, I could have said she was 16 as she looks a lot older for her age. My brother should have known as he was given visitors sheet with ages on, although apparently until recently it used to be over 13. And if I had known before leaving home, I wouldn't have taken her with me to get all upset. At least I did see some pictures of them. I will go back another day, but awkward coz I have my 2yr old DD with me all the time.
Never mind I wouldn't have got any cuddles yet anyway and I will hopefully have plenty of them from my two new nieces. I am so happy they are here. :)

I looked for some today, ended up asking someone what they were but we just got told they didn't have any with no explanation. Are they tinned tattys with spicy stuff ?
Yeah, cubes of potato in a curry sauce like you get from the indian restaurant. They are lovely (unless you live in the north east, and in that case they are horrible, and you really should not buy any!)

My hemp balm, Wisewoman serum and eye cream orders have been cancelled :( - guess I will have to stay crinkley until L'Oreal decide to let me print some more coupons.

I use them when I'm out & want a snack. It takes the edge off hunger & stops me eating too many.

congrats on the new additions to your family :j It's sad isnt it that hospitals etc have to make such rules and take the measures that they do. :( But at least you know the precious little babies are safe because of the procedures in place.

Good weights for twins, so Im sure they'll be available for cuddles really soon. Hopefully the upset will pass when they get home and everyone can enjoy x
