Hi all, Haven t had a chance to check out bargains today but never mind. I went to a local pub/restaurant with my sister and her daughter where it was buy one Mother s Day dinner menu and get one free. I had a lovely roast pork dinner with all the trimmings and for pudding I had a chocolate sponge with warm toffee inside and cream. Sister kindly said we d share the free meal so paid the princely sum of £5 each minus drink. Absolute bargain. :)

I finish nightshift at 9am and could go then, but I have no idea what to buy and no time to work it out

Princes pastes are a good one at 3 for £1, no good comparison elsewhere sadly but a cheap purchase to find out if it's a glitchy day!

Does Tesco Price Promise include promotions?
Yes. We compare price reductions and most promotions – in Tesco and at Asda, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons*. Included are:

Multibuy – including ‘buy–one–get–one–free’, ‘buy 2 for £3’ and ‘3 for the price of 2’
Price cuts – for example, a discount from 99p to 50p

So does that mean whoopsies then?

    Afternoon all,

Been a relaxed but productive day so far. Have been spoilt with chocolates, flowers, some gardening bits and a home made chocolate rice krispie cake :D

Have spent most of the afternoon comparing energy tarriffs as our previous deal finished at the beginning of Feb and we'd been moved onto their extortionate standard tariff . Finally made a decision and switched. Sadly the best deal seems to be with our current supplier but is for new customers only :(. Still, we'll be better off just by getting off the current tarriff. Spoke to Mum and sis yesterday about looking at their energy suppliers as they've both been with the same ones for years but neither of them interested in changing. Hate to think how much they could save but it's too much effort.....

My next challenge for today is to find a good deal on a tablet. Think i'll be spending more and more time in bed over the next few weeks and it'll be easier than having laptop (which has to be plugged in as battery won't hold any charge :rotfl:) or read the tiny print on my phone. Love my sisters ipad but no way we could run to that at the moment. No idea where to start so this could take some time :p

Hope you are all having a nice day. Hugs to all those who are finding it tough
♥ Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it's troubles.... it empties today of it's strength ♥
