You should try and go if you can bear it - the first few times I went it was horrible but now I quite enjoy the visit (Mum died last May), the crem is so pretty at this time of year with all the spring flowers out and my grandparents are there too, so I did the Mother's Day tree this year for Mum and Gran. x

Do you feel closer when you are there? I don't feel as though my mum is there, I still talk to her and stuff, just don't know if I would feel any different after putting myself through it.

O pants not used to this glitching...so I had not bought the crisps I could have got the full amount?

Most of us have made a few booboos when starting out. Main things to watch out for are mixing the shops you want to compare against, putting unplanned shopping in with an apg/pp shop or not getting enough fillers.

I am sure you will get the hang of it.

could you help me please...when you say "unplanned" shopping do you mean I should have got "basic" fillers to make up the 8 items?

    Thanks

I do 2 shops. One is for the glitch and the other is for items I know are cheaper in a's. I am constantly counting items to make sure I have it right as its so easy to make a mistake.

Your 'fillers' to make up the 8 items must be either cheaper, the same price or items that don't compare.

I still can't go to the crem where my mum's ashes are. Trying to work up to going on her first anniversary but can't even think about it without falling apart.

It's the same for me, and it was really hard to go initially :grouphug:. The memorial garden is really pretty, they put fairy lights on all the trees at Christmas, and everyone decorates the graves with Christmas wreaths and baubles. It was really busy today as everyone was bringing flowers. The memorial stones were really bright and colourful. Lots of people have put the solar powered flutterby butterflies in their plots, they look lovely fluttering around, my Mum would've loved them.
