    Hide the home phones:D
I take it they are DTD phones;)

I wish I could - my OH's in-laws are elderly and they don't like calling mobile phoens :(

They are better than DTD - got DTD on a set I picked up (paid to take away) then within a year they went wrong so took them back, got the full £84.50 that I "paid" for them back then went and got a half price set from S :D
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

Thanks to CoT, PS3 due to arrive today. :j

Now searching an HDMI lead. Are they all the same? They start on amazon for 99p. (In pre-MSE days I paid £50 in Currys!)

    - Nice one! That's brilliant news. Enjoy spending it. :j
[...] I can't put him out in the yard because he's very protective of his home so barks at every noise and I've already been threatened with the dog warden because of their noise in the first few weeks we had them. I don't want things to go that way.
SD - sorry to hear you'r having trouble with the pooches. Have you thought about using a cloth muzzle (it stops ours barking)? It is very soft on the face, doesn't cause irritation, but stops my dog a) eating the sofa - I've just got a new one and b) barking. He can still drink with it, and he can't get it off. I will try get you a link.

I think you, above all, 3Dogs, as has been said before, are an inspiration to us all and deserve all the kind words said. I hope the poochies get good forever homes :D

Well done, COT! Enjoy it, Silvercar. I bought one of the HDMI leads at 99p. My PS is working brilliantly in 1080p. I have bought others right up to £30 for some gold plated thing. I really can't jsutify the costs as I just don't see the performance boosts.

    Smart1e - Congratulations on your 2000th post. :A

    My post next... :(

had a bad egg experience last night, totally mnessedu p one by using a roses n/a and the other it was marked as 3 for 10 but the cadbury one didnt trigger it so I now have a long journey to change that and probably won't be able to use the apg it generated.

Well DS1 (don't know if that means darling or devil right now) is now being very well behaved. I wonder if the social workers coming round scared him.

But he rang his biological dad before I got chance and the brown stuff hit the fan. He's threatening to take us back to court to go for custody of the 3 smaller children (his biologically). OH and I got custody last time but now with social workers involved and DS1 and DS2 definitely thinking the grass would be greener, the OH is worried. I've tried to tell her not to worry.

I reassured the fella it was all blown out of proportion but it is worrying. I've told him I'll keep him in the loop about what we're all doing to make this situation better.

The ludicrous thing is, on the phone his words were something like "I love my kids, and I'll do anything for them. You're there step dad and I like you, I know they get bad a times, and they drive me wild too, I often crack them, but they're my kids and you shouldn't touch them". Great heh?! OK for him to crack them - the guy's a joke. :(

The saga continues. Sometimes I wonder how I went from being a career focused Doc with all going right, to my world being blown apart.

    Thank you!

Compromised and ordered at £3.99 for a 1.4a standard one - tops according to Wiki. Even paid extra for quick delivery.

Can't believe I listened to salesmen in Curry's in the past and spent £50 for something that was gold-plated.
