    good morning:)
it's freezing this morning, oh was running ds1 and ds2 girlfriends home last night and could hardly see for fog. he couldn't see 6ft in front of the car but all delivered home safely, can't bear to think of them walking home alone from the bus stop.

think we need a really good superglitch to cheer us all up and lift our spirits, but it is getting so much lighter at night and my daffodils are fair popping up so Spring is just around the corner

hugs to everyone who needs one and extra hugs 'cause it's just that time of year when we all need a little extra x
mmm..... these strawberries make my breath happy mum ds

On a strand of pure silver, I'll welcome each day

Currently earning £28,000 per year. Will be going up to £32,000 in a few months. Should be enough to buy myself a Nissan GT-R.

Things haven't changed a bit re: glitching/money saving. Still go whooopsied shopping when I can, buy Everyday Value items etc. The only thing that's different is finding the time to do this. :( Far less free time on my hands now and when I do have time off I catch up with family and friends etc.

Having said that though...I managed to get building and contents insurance for my mum the other day for a grand total of £15. So I think I've still got 'it'. ;)

Quick question...what was the last major supermarket glitch? And also, do 1p items still exist in Tesco? :o

    Hi Karlie
I actually found 1p item in my MrTs Extra yesterday. Thanks to the OP it was the Finest Mince Pie Icecream SEL £1.00 went through at 1p. Not with the rest of the Icecream so every one have a good look in the freezers. Family and friends benefitted as my freezer is full! That's all due to you lot! Thanks. Also Sfsb for the new thread, thanks. No scanner in my store or I'm sure there might be more.
  • Morning.

Lovely new thread sfsb - thank you. I pledge to do my best to keep up this time, and, moreover, to contribute!!

Will be going to sada about midday. Anything glitching or need testing? I'm not going to have time for catching up before I go.

Also where's best for Easter eggs? 2 4 2 only had smarties yesterday which is fine but would sada be better.

    Good morning all.

Just had my cancelleation email from Mr Shoes too :(
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare
  • Thanks for the new thread SFSB.

I've had a very stressful day and have a long one tomorrow. I've a course from 9.30 to 1.30, luckily not too far from home, then have after school club from 3 to 4.30. I hate these long days :(
My course is about mental health and it's impact on the community and ways to ease the burden for the whole family unit, especially the children. Well it's something like that anyway, I can't really remember as I signed to do it at Xmas time. I just hope I manage to get through the whole thing, just have to remember to take my meds with me, my supervisor offered to ring them and let them know I'd not be able to make it but this is the first time they've been able to offer this course to non-professionals to don't want to miss out if you know what I mean.

I have also had to make the heart breaking decision to rehome one of my dogs, a friend is trying to find a suitable home for the boxer. I know I can't give him the time and he's just not got a good quality of life with us cramped into a small house with no garden and me not being able to handle him on the lead at all because he's too strong, I've bruises from the last time I tried to walk him :(. I did get a behaviourist out to access him a few weeks ago but she rang after the consult to say she couldn't help us :(.
I've tried loads of stuff with him but nothing seems to work, the lurcher on the other hand is now an angel to work with so I'm assuming it's something just hasn't clicked in his brain. He understands that if I say sit there will be a treat but that's the only command he knows now yet before he had to stay with my friend he knew most commands, I think it's just me he refuses to obey!
It's also got to the point if I leave him alone for even 15 mins he has something destroyed, my cooker and washing machine are the latest casualties. If I take the lurcher out he wrecks something, if I take him out she sleeps, if I take him out before her I still come back to the same level of mess then he left in :(. It's got to the stage I have ALL my kitchen cupboards emptied and in boxes in the sitting room, we have a path to the kitchen because the tumble drier had to come out too and I've no where else to put it. Living in this house has become unbearable, I dread going back to find out what he's done now. I'm dreading tomorrow so will be looking for toys in the morning that I know will keep him occupied for a wee while, I'd rather pick up bits of tennis balls and not bits of my double glazing window sills!

Sorry went off on a bit of a tangent, bed for me, good night all

Lovely to see you posting SD - haven't noticed you around much recently (not that I've been here much tbh) Sad to hear about your dog, but you know you're doing the right thing for you and your DS and the dog itself. i hope today's course goes well, and you find it useful. :)

Good Morning everyone.:). Imdebtfree the 2 4 2 are obviously the best deal. These size eggs are £1 each in Asda and Morissons. The best deal for the bigger eggs is Asda where they are 3 for £10, well they were up till yesterday anyway. The other main supermarkets don't have this offer they are mainly £4 each. Hth

    Good morning all :)

It's freezing here today!! I've officially given up on catching up on the old thread but, am completely caught up on this one :j :D

DS1 is at nursery this morning so need to pop to sada for some nappies and bits.

UPS picked up my phone yesterday so hoping it doesn't take too long for Nokia to fix it and get it sent back to me.
