    I ordered the gift cards.

The order has tracked through TCB.:)

If I don't get the points, no worries, I wont have lost anything, as the card can be used at lots of places.:):)

Not sure why the thread is 'ELITE' divide and conquer in the grocery world? Bit overkill, ego doesn't really come into moneysaving, unless your'e in politics and even then it's solely implied by themselves.

I get what your saying about if you spend £40 and getting £4 back on APG but would it be more beneficial to take advantage of T's current £12 off a £60 shop offer for new customers and £5.05 on TCB? You would then be paying £43 (and currently free proscuittio worth £3) which is better than 10%? And of course even better if you are one for downshifting, if your cheaper brand is out of stock they upgrade to a more expensive brand and match the price.

Theres also some odd pricing on Asda kidds clothes, may be across the board, there are some reductions of old stock not marked on shelf. I will find the barcodes and post in the morning, we had the peppa pig 2 pack socks marked at £3 go through at 50p amongst others. Fab for anyone with young kids that get through socks.

    Hello Savvybunny,

Elite is just tongue in cheeks and not to be taken seriously:)

I think the Tesco offer is brilliant - for new customers;) but we're all in it for the Long term , week after week:)

I currently have freezer and fridges full of food, lots of nice goodies, chocolate and cosmetics, money on gift cards and lots of vouchers and loyalty points.

I spend very little on food at the moment. Stay and join in the fun:D

I believe it's called 'tongue in cheek' humor.

Now if you don't mind, I just found a 7p till-spit I'd forgotten about in the kitchen! A glass of blossom hill rose (bought with MOC, naturally) for me to celebrate.

Hi TrulyMadly, I have been here prior to the good old DTD days and it's downfall but sometimes the thread goes a bit warefaring so I try not to get too involved, sometimes it can all get a bit much drama, although mostly I know it's warm welcoming and lovely in here.

I do realise it is tongue in cheek, all the titles have been but as tongue in cheek as the word 'ELITE' can be. I think sometimes people who would post and be part of the team as such may not post, it is a bit of an aggressive term usually used for 'those above us in politics' which is a shame as it does not do this lovely thread any justice.

I have been lucky to be able to feed my family for around £60 this month which is a personall best including decent meat, veg and no rubbish ready meals, all home cooked and a good bit of meal planning. The T's offer has helped considering they apply the offer regardless of any items out of stock. I certainly am in it for the long run and intend on buying organic for an introductory price for the next two months. I will be able feed the family for around £100 p/m the net two months, of course freezer space is important and meal planning, westin gourmet have some fab offers and if you know how to use yoru veggies it's all good.

Of course bread whoopsies are included, when did we get to paying £1.35 a loaf of production line bread!? Crazy.

Thank you for the lovely welcome although a little late understandably, my fault for lack of posting to be fair ;) If I can add anything worthwhile to the conversations I will be posting. I don't want to ruffle feathers though, things have changed here in the last few years.

What a fab jpeg, bet you were saving it for just this occassion :D

Appreciated nonetheless and borrowed for people I know who could do with seeing such a sight if you don't mind of course. I think we all can be a little sarcastic in such times, still maybe this is why no one else mentioned it, in fear of this jpeg hehehe :D

    Hello SB,

I can be good to ruffle feathers sometimes:p

I think the posts can be eclectic- the posters too but that is its strength. We all have our own agendas- obviously but there are a great bunch of people here and it would be nice to see you posting again:)

    Welcome back then savvybunny :D
if people can be bothered to read a page or two they will see that in general it is a friendly helpful place where everything is talked about even pink onesies.
If not well the glitches are probably too much effort for them anyway.
