My little brother picked up his new car today
It's so nice to see where he is now compared to 2-3 years ago. Such a difference!
Shame my other brother can't pull his finger out and sort himself out th same way *sigh*I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Anyone got any imaginative uses for the stinky hemp Vaseline stuff.
I put it on my toes last night but I couldn't stand the smell.
Reminds me of when we all had loads of the smart price conditioner. Can't remember who posted but we had a brilliant list of handy uses for it.
I think we could use the hemp for greasing up squeaky hinges:)To do is to be. Rousseau

Evening.
Thought I would pop in just to say hi.
I'm still trying to get my lil man to settle, he is currently wrapped round me in my bed still feeling poorly.
I totally forgot to tell you's what happened in dunlelm mill yesterday. I've bee searching for 2 new matching light shades for weeks and have had I luck. I finally found 2 I liked yesterday but they were sold as a lamp base and shade set. I didn't want to pay £30 for them both when I was only after the top half. So I was standing there dithering and these 2 women kept walking part me chatting really loudly about not being able to find what they were after. I offered to help thinking they just needed directions but they were actually after lamp bases. You can see where this is going can't ya.. We ended up buying one lamp each at £15 and swapping the bits over. I am the proud owner of 2 rather new snazzy shades and they walked away with the bases they wanted. Bloody brilliant :rotfl:

Morning all
Feeling better after a decent sleep and coming downstairs to a shiny kitchen
Sorry for the venting yesterday, it does help thoughThink I've been trying to 'get on with it' for too long and it finally caught up with me. MIL due again later this morning to ease the pressure. Have got to stop being proud and accept all help I can
Know like izzy said, that meds can affect mood so maybe that's a factor too.

Not sure why the thread is 'ELITE' divide and conquer in the grocery world? Bit overkill, ego doesn't really come into moneysaving, unless your'e in politics and even then it's solely implied by themselves.
I get what your saying about if you spend £40 and getting £4 back on APG but would it be more beneficial to take advantage of T's current £12 off a £60 shop offer for new customers and £5.05 on TCB? You would then be paying £43 (and currently free proscuittio worth £3) which is better than 10%? And of course even better if you are one for downshifting, if your cheaper brand is out of stock they upgrade to a more expensive brand and match the price.
Theres also some odd pricing on Asda kidds clothes, may be across the board, there are some reductions of old stock not marked on shelf. I will find the barcodes and post in the morning, we had the peppa pig 2 pack socks marked at £3 go through at 50p amongst others. Fab for anyone with young kids that get through socks.Comping wishlist for 2017
