Does anyone know if Beko washing machines are any good? My main concern is reliability. We're on a tight budget, so want to get the most reliable machine we can for the lowest price possible!

I don't know about washing machines but their freezers are good. Had one for about five years with no problems. Had a beko TV for the same amount of time although the sound on the TV went last week but came back when I gave it a good whack! The reason people don't move right down inside the carriage is that there's nothing to hold onto when you're in the middle.0

My parents have got a Beko washing machine and fridge/freezer (both inherited from me when I moved in with boyfriend) and they are both working v well, considering the abuse that is thrown at them by my mum and dad. (my dad is a farmer, so has very mucky clothes and he eats loads too!)Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0

Same here! Ours might even be a bit older than that, but I'm not sure!Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

I have a Beko dishwasher that has lasted just as long as other higher-priced brands. They are priced so low to get an increased market share in the UK.Life's a beach! Take your shoes off and feel the sand between your toes.0

I was looking at a Beko yesterday, I was looking for the most basic model I could find as its for an 82year old lady, afterall most of us only use about two programs anyway. However, the one thing that was pointed out to me was that the wash time was over 2 hours and that in itself could prove expensive. The money is not an issue here for our needs, we just want to stop her washing her undies by hand and then drying them on top of her gas grill!!!!£2.00 Savers Club = £34.00 So Far
+ however may £2 coins I have saved in my Terramundi since 2000.

The mandatory EU efficiency labels show you how much electricity the machine uses on a standard cycle, and certainly some of the Beko machines (the WMA1521W sold in Argos and Comet) are A rated which is among the best.
Just because it's slow doesn't necessarily mean it is inefficient.0 -
Thanks all for your replies. Still not sure which machine I should buy though!0
