I only have experience of the Eastern US but the realities their use the MLS database (sorry cant remember what it stands for)
All properties for sale are listed on the database and searchable. You probably need to sign up with a realtor to access the database.
Remember the system works slightly different, you appoint a buying agent, tell them your requirements, they liase with selling agents the buying agent will arrange all your viewings etc and take you too them.
When you are ready to offer the buying agents prepares a written offer and sends it to the sellers agent. If they agree they sign the written offer and this is binding if they don't agree they send back a written couter offer that you sign if you accept and so on and on.0 -
Try a google for
"MLS region"
"MLS city"
and variations, as well as realtor.com
The big players, agency-wise, are the likes of RE/MAX, Century 21, Coldwell Banker, and a few others. You might try combinations of these with regions or cities in a google.0
