UKPC Parking Charge

Hi thanks for the replies, most helpful. To ManxRed, just to be clear The vehicle is a lease hire vehicle through the motability scheme, and I am a named driver on the policy. The Policy is in my daughters name but she doesn't drive due to health problems. It is a fully adapted Wav vehicle with ramp entry to rear and clearly displayed "Disabled Tax Disc." on the wind screen.
I appreciate that it is my responsibility to display the blue badge but it was an oversight on my part but make no mistake the bay was being utilized by a disabled passenger in a fully adapted vehicle, something they will find out when they get all the details from the dvla/motability.
My only concern is that all correspondence will be sent to my daughter. Many thanks.
No it's not! Read the advice and links already given.
If you are concerned about the letters going to your daughter then that's a good reason to do the strong appeal fun and games in your name as driver, either like trubster who's having a whale of a time with his case on pepipoo now, or a simple complaint email to the Retail Park Management, like Caryl on the MSE thread I linked.
You need to understand this was NOT an oversight by you - despite what their signs say about Blue Badges (they lie and they do not follow the Equality Act).
You need to understand that UKPC and the Retail Park who contracted them will be breaking the law, jointly liable for damages to you, if they pursue this after you tell them about the disabled passenger & show a copy of some proof - could be Blue Badge if there is one, could be DLA award suitably redacted, could be a copy of the disabled tax disc, which after all, the UKPC goon would have seen already (no excuses for them harassing you then!).
Please show these replies to your family so you can all understand that you are dealing with a scam company who must be stopped and complained about.
This sort of harassment isn't on - and right now you are still posting thinking you may have done wrong. That tells me you still need to read the links!

Follow coupons advice, she knows her stuff! For everthing else there's mastercard.
For clampers there's Barclaycard.0 -
Not sure how the RK thing works with motability vehicles, Coupon-Mad may know.
Pretty sure the letters would go to the daughter - never heard of them being sent to Motability on any previous thread like this.
But as we have said, the OP can easily prevent the daughter from getting any letters and hook all the letters in his direction - and make a complaint too. Caryl's example was the easiest - just one or two emails to the Retail Park, suitably strongly worded as shown on her thread, and the fake PCN was cancelled.PRIVATE 'PCN'?
