Universal credit

We currently get a small amount each month in child tax credit and as it's come toward the end of the year I was looking to see if there was anything I need to be aware of for next year. All I could find out is that child tax credit will be replaced by universal credit but nothing much about how it will work or how much we will get, there isn't a calculator or anything. How do I find out if I will still get anything next year??
Nothing to see here, move along.

You will continue as you are for the time being. New applicants will go onto universal credit first and eventually your claim will be transferred over. It'll take years. The money you get will initially stay the same and may fall gradually over time.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Well that's a relief they don't make it clear at all.Nothing to see here, move along.0

The biggest difference is that tax credits do not have capital limits which the universal credit will, so as long as you don't have savings over benefit limits, or own any property you should be fine. When they change your claim over of course0
