Travel Insurance that covers martial arts

Hi,

Need some advice from you lovely travel experts :D

I need to get Travel Insurance which covers martial arts.
Any ideas?

    I do quite a bit of climbing & Mountain biking in Europe & always use Dogtag.co.uk
    Snowcard & the British mountaineering club are other ones that should also be OK for cover
  • Found my policy wording. My insurance is with direct-travel.co.uk, who I found to be significantly cheaper than dogtag for my purposes (ice hockey). However, they don't expressly cover martial arts which means it's excluded since it would doubtless constitute a "dangerous activity".

    Might still be worth calling them as they say they may be able to offer cover on payment of the applicable extra premium. Suggest you check out their website.

    Edit to add: direct travel insurance don't cover martial arts :( just gave them a give quick call.

    No doubt your instructor has insurance to cover his classes. Possibly the same company would look sympathetically to offering you cover.
