Not fit for purpose?

Hi Everyone,
Looking for advice;
I purchased some uprated car parts. They are shocks and springs where they are made to order and I can specify spring rates.. 3week build time...
After placing order over the phone, chasing a week later for order confirmation to be sent through, they were supposed to be delivery mid-last week, but weren;t dispatched till friday so turned up yesterday.
Now they are specific to my car, but I have a few issues;
1) they do not fit the top cap bearing mounts as they should
2) I have concerns over the size of the rear springs
3) there are no adjuster platforms
4) the company name stickers on each shock is peeling
What is my case for using "Not fit for purpose" to get a full refund? I emailed them last night to make them aware, and tried to ring today but couldn;t speak to technical guy as on phone, and they were aware of my complaints but were very busy and would get back to me today/tomorrow, very blase!
I have use this companies products before which is why i went with them but now wish i bought off the shelf items for my car.
Any advice/help appreciated.
Dom

TBH you probably need to speak to someone who knows more about shocks than me but still....
For 1 & 2, do you have to specify the vehicle they are to fit or do you simply give the specifications you want?
For 1 - is the top cap part what they supplied or part of your vehicle?
For 3 - Did they specify there would be?
For 4 - personally I dont see the fact a branding sticker is coming off a functional/ mechanical part like a shock absorber to be a reason to be able to reject an item0 -
If they are not suitable for the car then of course you can reject them
1) in what way do they not fit
2) again in what way .. too long/short or too large a diameter causing clearance problems
3) did they specify that they did come adjustable as opposed to just uprated
4) I doubt a sticker coming off an undercar product would really be a fault0 -
Thanks for the quick response;
The kit is a coilover kit, made for a specific car(mk5 golf). The only specifics I have given is the spring rates, not the sizes etc.
The front springs are supposed to sit in a metal cup as part of the bearing (part of the car). The springs internal diameter is too small for this to sit as it should. The bearing cup is an OEM part, and this kit should fit this oem spring seat. It does not.
It's supposed to be an adjustable kit both height and damping, but there is no way of adjusting the rear height without the platform.
My concerns of the rears springs shape and length do not match other companies solutions and worried about fitment issues following the problems with the front.
The sticker is just a point of quality, its not like one, all four shocks, the sticker is peeling off, very shoddy if you ask me.
Thanks chaps...0
