  • Yes there are no yellow or parking lines, and vehicles do sometimes park where I am planning to have the driveway. These vehicles tend to be visiting next the business door, but dont cause me a problem as loads of parking.
  • Anyone got some insight if I will have any issues with the water meter/stop !!!! cover? I guess i will need to ring them and also pay a fee for them to inspect?

    Thanks

As above lift the cover and just check the end of the stopcock isn't right below the lid. Providing its not then the contractor will just reset the lid when they do the surfacing

Knock the wall down , park in your drive, then you and your neighbour lobby council to re surface the road.

When they did it locally everyone with a kerb in a similar situation had it dropped free of charge!

I do actually have a dropped kerb with small drive, but with living in a mega mega busy road want a in out drive as reversing out is a health hazard.
