Virgin Money Card

Hi,
I have a friend who has this and had the interest frozen so they could just pay the balance off. They have had insurance on it as well which takes up a hefty amount of the payment.
My question is this, if the person cancels the insurance can this trigger a review by virgin that could result in the interest being increased to make up the short fall or is the interest frozen for good regardless of the insurance.

When you say frozen, do you mean they opted out of a rate increase, or it's a temporary goodwill arrangement by Virgin?0

She opted out of the rate increase...0 -
Then cancelling the PPI won't impact her rate.0
