  • Started mine in Nov last year, still no decision!
  • i contacted lloyds 2 years ago,and still nothing, the bank that likes to say yes.or should be The Bank That Likes To Say NO
  • We put in two complaints with Lloyds. One was upheld - it was close to the eight week limit but not over it - and once they upheld it, we got payment really very quickly, part of it through the next day, all of it within a week. However we appealed the rejected complaint, that was at the end of December, and despite two chase-up letters, so far receipt of our appeal has not even been acknowledged.
  • Nothing, not even a reply???
  • Hi,

After sending off the template (credit card ppi) last year, we waited for Lloyds to reply - just this month we have had 4 calls from their dedicated department in a few days and the last one stated that we would have a decision within 10 days.

So 12 days later my husband rang them and was told by a different person that the claim had been rejected and a letter had been sent out - the day of the last call from our contact!

When we said we hadn't received a letter they said they would resend - but here we are a week later still waiting!

We need to go on the the FOS as we believe the claim is valid!

    Good luck all :(
  • Lloyds seem to be in a total mess........letters sent ,never received etc!!! Very frustrating not being able to talk to anyone who can give us a reason or to the department dealing with our complaint just call centres abroad that tell you what you already know and nothing else!!!
Fingers crossed we all get some action soon!!!!

Does anyone know of anyone else to contact at lloyds, the generic PPI number is never any help and I have been waiting for over 8 weeks. The loan in question had front loaded ppi added to it and I have a copy of the loan agreement, as this PPI was forced on me it seems quite an open and shut case.
  • Not that i know of.....don’t think any other department is contactable or so i was told.......Hope you hear soon chips78 i had front loaded policies but not sure this would have been enough i had a call which gave me the chance to tell them more plus answer questions......i believe mine was upheld due to re-financed loans although i had a fair few reason and could remember and was able to answer their questions......good luck!

I put other reasons on the original PPI claim form but have now realised it was front loaded aswell, I've waited 8 weeks and now they want me to wait another 12. Do you think its worth sending them my original agreement showing it is frontloaded to help move this forward

Forward a Copy of your original agreement with a covering letter stating that you now realise the PPI to be front loaded/single premium.
I did this with all my loans paperwork.
