Does anyone know if NFU Mutual will pay to have my cat cremated?

My cat sadly passed away in the early hours of this morning. I have had her insured with NFU Mutual for the last 5 years.

On the renewal notice I am unable to find whether they will pay to have her cremated or not. I am also unable to find the original policy documents when they were issued 5 years ago.

Does anyone know if NFU Mutual would pay to have my cat cremated?

If it's a policy to cover the cat's health care costs - probably not. Just like human insurance policies.

I'm sorry about your cat :(

Some policies cover it (my M&S one does), you'd probably be best to ring NFU in the morning and ask them.
When I had my loft converted back into a loft, the neighbours came around and scoffed, and called me retro.
