Hi. Is it possible to buy a new laptop with Windows 7? Im looking to get my daughter a new one, but she doesn't like the look of (or reviews) for Windows 8!! TIA!

Windows 8 can be easily tailored to default to the "old style" interface. The main thing to check is whether you have any programs that require Windows 7 rather than 8.

For a smaller (13.3") machine with an i5 but without paying ultrabook prices, this is excellent. I've been using one for 10 months and have just bought a second one for my OH because the price has dropped by £200 in the last few weeks (new model just out).
