Hello, thank you for running this challenge. I'd like to join in with my first go at 10 as a NSD target. Apologies my total isn't in colour, I'm on a phone.
Not sure if this is an over ambitious first go, but nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Good luck all xxx0 -
I'll join. Need the motivation :-) I'll aim for 16 please.SAHM to 4 Little Monkeys

Hi Freeby
Thanks for the new thread, you're a :staradmin as always. Love the prizes, you've definitely struck gold (or maybe chocolate:D) there.

I take money out at the start of the month to put into various envelopes for things, eg kid's dinner money, swimming, window cleaners, emergency money, etc. How do i class this with regards to NSD for the month? Would i only be classing spending days as one for when i take the money for the month out of my account, and then any other spending days i count are when i use my debit card for something?SAHM to 4 Little Monkeys

Please can you put me down for 20 for the month of March. I have a big birthday this month and a night out to celebrate but that's not till towards the end of the month so I should hopefully have got to my target by then.On target for mortgage freedom September 20230

Good Morning
Welcome to all the early birds who have got themselves organised and signed up early :T Here's to another bumper month of NSDs
Mammyof4 - It is completely up to you how you count your NSDs. The beauty of this challenge is that there are no rules except your own.Personally, I would count the day you take the money out of your bank account and then anything you spend on top of that - just like you suggested
Oh and welcome to the NSD challenge
Mrs Cautious - Welcome to the challenge. Good luck for your first NSD, it is always a great feeling when you declare it on here.
I hope you both join in with all the chatter, suppport and motivation on this thread. You won't come across a better bunch of peopleFree by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
Thanks guys :-) I'm looking forward to this starting now :-D I've been terrible lately for 'just putting it on the card' despite sorting the budget out and taking money out at start of month for the regular outgoings. Taking money out at start of month definitely helps me though because i was finding i thought i had money left in the account then the next day a cheque for kids dinners would be cashed late or a the swimming money i'd forgotten about would come out of the account. But by paying by cash and taking the money out at the start of the month i've been able to avoid the dreaded unexpectedly going overdrawn.SAHM to 4 Little Monkeys
