losing the connection to the router or losing the internet connection?
Try using it very close to the router, does it still drop the connection?
Try hardwiring it via an ethernet cable (usually supplied with the router) and seeing if the internet connection itself works
Try using a friends wireless laptop - see if it stays connected
Try using a different router - see if that works.
Try changing the lead from the router to the phone line
ensure ALL phone connections have microfilters
ensure router is connected directly to main phone point.
remove all other connected phones.
replace microfilter.
Doing all of the above should help you identify where your problem lies.
Hope that helps0
