Hi All,
Advice please. 3 DAYS ago I purchased a pair of Goldigga Low wellies.Sold as a pair, I discovered today that one is a size 7 and the other is a size 8 I returned them to the shop, tickets are still on, to exchange or refund.I have not used the boots and have receipt. The tickets say the boots are size 7,which is what I want.
The shop does not have another pair of 7s and tell me they do not refund EVER for any reason.I was offered a voucher which I have refused. Is the action of SPORTS DIRECT legal?

No it is not.
The goods have not corresponded with their description; i.e. they are not the size they are described as being. This is a breach of the Sale of Goods Act s 13.
You are entitled to a refund; and if it came to it, there is not a small claims court in the land that would deny you this.
Go back to them, tell them the law, and insist on your refund.0 -
Thanks for reinforcing my suspicions.0

Did you speak to the store manager? If so write a letter of complaint to head office quoting or referring to the Sale of Goods Act. You contracted to purchase a pair of size sevens, they cannot supply so much refund.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
