Getting a new gas supply installed. What energy company has cheapest tarriff ?
I am getting a gas supply to my flat installed in 2 weeks time and I need to chose an energy supplier to fit a meter to the supply but since I have not been using gas previously, I am unable to use the comparison websites for a quote so I'm wondering if anyone on here knows what company has cheapest gas prices in west/central Scotland ?

There is no such thing as a fit all cheapest, it all depends on your particular consumption. When I switched last year I input different scenarios into the comparison sites and different suppliers came out on top for each. The best you can do is input the average of 3300 for electric and 16500 for gas and see what comes out.0

Why?
most comparison sites offer help to those who do not know their anticipated annual consumption figures.0 -
The comparison sites were asking me to input details of my current gas usage or price which I don't have because I have not been a gas customer before. But got it all sorted now0

In such cases just use any 'current' tariff you like, it doesn't matter. The point of the exercise is to get the comparative data.No free lunch, and no free laptop
