Car Insurance for Overseas Resident

My cousin, who is British, wants to drive his father's car when he is in the UK.

My uncle passed away in January so my cousin is having to fly over from Germany (where he now lives and works) every couple of months to see solicitors etc.

How can he get car insurance as he doesn't reside in the UK now? Insurance companies won't cover him as he doesn't live here.

The no claims that he had before he moved to Germany have now expired.

He just wants third party, fire and theft as it is likely the car will be sold within a year when the estate is finalised.

Any help would be appreciated please.

    Thanks Flamecloud

I will take a look. From the title I'm assuming it's for short periods of time. The car isn't insured at all at the moment as it's expired subsequent to my uncle's death so my cousin is looking for a normal annual policy.
