    I read in auto express that quick fit have gone into car servicing in a big way.
    They can carry out a manufacturer type service,so the mag. says at a much lower cost.The mag seemed to think it was a good deal,although i cant speak from experience and must admit to being wary of fast fit type places at times ,although some of the independents have been very good in my experience.

    I had a bad experience at one kwik-fit but equally there is another one down the road where they are brilliant, although they know I'm aware when something needs changing so aren't likely to try and trick me.

    Wherever you get a service - if your car is still within warranty, make sure the garage uses the manufacturer genuine parts, so the warranty remains valid. Make sure you get these receipts to prove it in case you have a warranty claim.
