  • some basic guidelines here, from the employer perspective but should still be useful.

if they're in financial trouble it sounds like the company might be using this as an excuse to get rid instead of making him redundant?

They initialy told him there had been a compllaint from 2 caretakers however he only delivered to one fllat !
He asked for the evidence they declined to give him the info !
He now learns from a work colleague that it was a fellow door knocker who follows up the initial letters the next day claims to have found loads of letters in a stairwell and has complained to the management( my son confirms that he only put 4 letters under the door of one block of flats that only had four flats ) so he is being made a scap goat.
He has been suspended since friday afternoon they rang him Monday afternoon to say his version of events is different to what they have accussed him of so he hasnt heard from them since !

Why is his employer targeting council houses and flats? The landlord should be sorting all this stuff out anyway. Sounds like a grant scam of some sort.
