Outlook.com Down?

Hi can't sign in to 'Outlook.com', just says service unavailable. It does seem to be at my end only, having checked a few sites. Just wondered if anyone could make me feel better, & may have the same problem at the moment?

Thx

It's not you. It's really not. Cross thread ongoing on the Outlook.com support forum.

And those "is it up" sites aren't much use for things like Outlook, where user load is spread across gazillions of different servers based on all sorts of things, presumably including geographical location.
  • Mine is playing up too!

I just tried and outlook.com works for me so it might be some of their servers but not all.

Just out of interest for those that can't access outlook.com - can you navigate to https://www.hotmail.com and enter your credentials there (hotmail and outlook accounts should work) - is that any different?

I've been unable to get in to Outlook.com & Hotmail all morning too. It's working now, but VERY slow.

Hmm, do you think even Microsoft might have been the victims of a cyber attack ??
I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say. :)
