Thank you for the clarifications Coupon-mad!

Well, I have appealed by email but I gave them my UK address not the address where the car is registered. I did so because I was really thinking that there was a misunderstanding I was hoping that I will find understanding . It seems I was wrong

Yes, I have a verification code, they have sent it together with the rejected appeal letter.

    Thanks Stroma!

I will try to fill in the appeal form/reasons for appealing to POPLA and I'll paste the info in here for feedback/suggestions.

I'm so glad I've got so many replies, I was intending to pay the PCN tomorrow. Lucky me :)

Go back to PPC and ask for proof of their legitimacy to penalise you. Or ask the management company for a copy of the contract terms.

In any event, ensure that your first reason for disputing at POPLA is that you have no proof PPC has authority to issue penalty charges. They will then have to produce contract for POPLA.

I don't advise going back to the parking company, but you can ask for proof of that in the popla appeal

Radio you Realky don't need to do anything.

You can appeal to popla or u can just ignore vcs.

If you do appeal to popla concentrate on the contract they hold.

But u are taking this to seriously!!

Radoo even if u dont win at popla u can ignore vcs, u will Just get sum fake scary debt collector and solicitor letters.

So dont worry what ever happens:)
    For everthing else there's mastercard.
    For clampers there's Barclaycard.
  • Further, if you appeal at popla and lose, despite popla saying you should now pay you do not have to, the decision is only binding on the ppc.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.
