Liking and Sharing!

Does anybody here know whether it counts if you share a post on facebook but only with my self. I've been thinking about it and imagine it should leave a trail on the post for the people running the competition but save my friends from having to deal with the constant competitions popping up in their news feeds.

I don't do the like and shares anyway but it occurred to me today as i was doing some other things.

I'd be interest to know others thoughts on this

No, it doesn't count if you share it with just yourself. You have to share it publicly or the comp provider can't see that you've shared it.

You have to share it publicly otherwise you're not really sharing it are you
I think the people who post comps can see if you've shared it publicly or not as well, so you cant even hide it from them that you're not doing so!

sharing with yourself isn't sharing! Self explanatory really! A company wants you to spread the word and you are not doing this if you are not sharing with everyone!
