eFlorist - not so good

Cutting a long story short - I ordered a fancy bunch of tulips from eFlorist for delivery the other week. I went for the bunch that came with a funky vase (it said vase included on the product description). At the time of buying they had two products. One without a vase for £18 and one with a vase for £30.
I thought the vase looked quite nice and would add something special to the order so went for that one.
Upon getting home my wife thanked me for the flowers - but shock horror - the vase that the flowers came in was a black paper bag!
Looks like I paid £12 for a paper bag....
I emailed a complaint - no reply.
I called and got a very apologetic nice chap who informed me that in the trade a paper bag is often called a vase (yeh right!). I told him that the product delivered looks nothing like the one advertised and that being a tight git ... ehem money saver ... I would not spend £12 on a bag!
He asked me to email him photos - which I did.
What a surprise - no reply again. (I got auto replies from their server both times, so I know they got the mail).
Oh and the nice chap informed me that they had had a lot of "queries" about this product after having taken delivery.
That says it all!
So buyer beware of eFlorist. They don't get back to you on complaints and they won't refund for paper bags!
This was the third time I had used them and I was beginning to think I had found a good online florists.
I can't be bothered to waste my life trying to push for the £12, I just won't order from them again.
Any suggestions on who I should use for Mothers Day?
Edit to add - They have since removed that product from their website. Presumably due to the high number of "queries".

Had a proper vase when ordered from them last year! Been brill every time I used them. Did you call Eflorist or the local one who delivered them?

I called eFlorist. It was a locally put together by a florist in town. I used them last year too - and they were fine. And this is the second time I have used them already this year - again fine other than this time.
My bug bear is the way it was handled, they essentially fobbed me off and ignored the evidence that I emailed to them.
If they had replied to my emails and given me a money off voucher for the £12 difference between their two products I would have been happy.
Ah well!0
