I am looking to purchase a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 3G 16GB (possibly today); the EU version is a little cheaper at around £465 through expansys. Other than being supplied with an EU plug and UK AC adapter is there any obvious reason to avoid the EU version?
If anyone has seen a better price from a reputable source please let me know.
Many thanks.

Not that I'm aware of, I bought a German Galaxy Note (the phone version) and had no problems using it in the UK. All I had to do on the first startup was change the language from German to English.

No Samsung do not have international warranty .
Possible EU wide warranty but check with Samsung .
But warranty is from the seller not Samsung .
UK version is UK firmware EU version probably German firmware . Both work as English UK once set up .

bit late to the party
but its mainly software and slight hardware internals
basically, mobile companies created slightly different versions of their phones for different markets, so its not just chargers, but things like 3G chips etc. so they have a variety of different model numbers (just search your device on wikipedia) this means with stuff like android devices due to the severe device fragmentation updates appear on different versions of the same device at different times even though is the same thing
also, you prob wont need this, but if your looking into flashing ROMs and rooting and stuff then some models are supported more than others.
hope that helped
