what are you doing this bank holiday monday ?

well i am sitting here in front of my computer... its 10.30 am and i am still in my pj's

hubby is still in bed... the kids had new computers for their bedrooms yesturday.....( thats grandparents for you )
the dog is also sleeping ( snuggled up on the bed with hubby)

the weather is grey and overcast.......

on bank holidays we normally just mooch around the house etc ...as if you go anywhere there is sooooo many people... and pushing and shoving.....if you go to a tourist attraction.. you cant see properly with the amount of people... or you are queing for ages to go on a ride....

plus the prices are sooooooo expensive....you need to take out another mortgage just to pay to get in.... thats without all the 'man can i have' from the kids..... and when you say no........they go into a mega strop.....

so..... today.. i will be having another cuppa first....then i will be sorting out my clothes for ebay ...( my vintage stuff etc) and taking a lot of my stuff over to a unit that i have just started renting.....( so i can get my house back )

and maybe do a bit of cooking..... cakes etc.... as i have been slipping back on my cooking from scratch lately....

so what have you guys got planned for today..... its got to be more4 exciting than what i have planned.....

  • Have parcelled up all the stuff people bought from me from ebay yesterday and am planning on getting ready to take them to the post office (I KNOW its bank holiday, but a local petrol station has a satellite office which is open 8-8 7days a week.

I know I have to prepare for a training session on moving and handing I am giving tomorrow, but am trying to find all I can to avoid it. So far have been here a few times, cleaned the fish-tank and the ebay stuff. getting near to lunchtime so that is something else to do too.

I've been suffering with genuine illness (ie, not self-inflicted Vik!!) all weekend - I've been like a snivvelling idiot and had a sore throat. I think it's down to the stress of DD's birthday last week with another two other kiddies parties to go to last week too!!!! I've only just got over a bout of really bad tonsilitis, brought on (I reckon) by the last time I had to go to two children's parties in three days!

Sooooo, we're doing nothing much here, it's seriously windy and unpleasant, Sky is on the blink because the dish is wobbling in the wind so it's just the snooker on the tv. I've helped DD make a flower model to take to school tomorrow using fimo (plastecine you bake in the oven). Probably pop out to Asda in a bit and then up to the launderette once my washing's done (DD's quite excited about coming with me, poor thing).

    How exciting eh?

    Jxx
And it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end
