Hi, does anyone know what the double sided tape that is used to stick the PCV cloaking fillet to the inside of a window frame is called?
I damaged some PVC fillet while using a heat gun on the wooden window surround. I have replacement fillet but don't know what to look for in the way of tape.

Motor factors also sell double sided tape, used to securely fix plastic No plates, found this stronger than the DIY stores tape ( they also do three different widths).0

I don't know anything about how it is meant to be done, but the original (about 5 years old) was stuck on with some sort of double sided spongy tape which seemed to work OK, so I assumed that was how it was done.Solar install June 2022, Bath

it might have been designed for it, but you & me both know that 99% of window fitters will use sealantI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

Thanks for the links, tape sounds easier and less messy than sealant for DIY.Solar install June 2022, Bath

yes you are correct that i was wrong, but most window fitters still wouldn't use tape.
