Savings Advice - 60k nest egg???

Hi all

I have about 40k in various savings accounts (3%), one being an ISA (2.25%), and a 20k loan has just been repaid to me, so I'm now wondering what to do with my 60k nest egg?

I'm 30, single, rent a room in a house share as not sure where I want to live so reluctant to buy property thinking this would tie me down, but also don't want to put my money into bonds or fixed term accounts in case I do decide say in 6 months where I want to live and decide to buy then.

Any advice would be appreciated on best buys out there etc.

You could do worse than browsing this forum for people who had 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 etc K to put away for a bit. The answers are always the same.
