Skype video and Versus Touchpad 7

Hello Techies

I just recently purchaced a Versus Touchpad 7 on a very good deal (http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/versus-touchpad-7-8gb-49-carphone-warehouse-1481732) for my 5 yo daughter to use so we can keep our own, more expensive stuff, safer

It comes with Skype pre-installed and it has a face facing camera but, for some reason, it doesn't allow have an option for video calls, only audio calls.

I've tryed to google it but I can't find an answer to this.

Does anyone know if I can use this tablet to make Skype video calls?

"When on the Skype app, touch the three vertical dots on the bottom of the panel, touch 'Settings', scroll down to 'Enable video calling'."
