I'm wanting upgrade the RAM on my wife's netbook from 1GB to 2 GB. I have watched the various videos on You Tube about removing the keyboard via the 4 clips.
Can I as hell get that keyboard off!!!
Does anyone know of another way to get to the RAM
Thanks

apparently, the correct method is ........Pull the battery, look inside, right in front of the battery contacts. You will see a small 4x4 mm hole. That silver you see is the bottom of the keyboard. Simply push the keyboard with a blunt object and the keyboard will push up enough, allowing you to get your fingers underneath, and pull the keyboard up and out.
Found this online, not tried it myself, as my Acer Aspire One (D250) has a door on the back to access the RAMHow do I add a signature?0 -
No other way I am afraid. The keyboard has to be removed to access the screws to remove the base. A credit card / sim card outer helps.0
