Whats Marbella like for a short break?

I am surprising my fiancee and her maid of honor to a trip abroad for a hen weekend as my fiancee really wanted to go abroad but no one else could afford so she is doing something here instead, so I thought of surprising them.
Anyway I am looking for destinations on a budget really as with the wedding coming up there is a lot to pay for.
I have found a deal on lowcostholidays for 4 nights in Marbella in a 4 star hotel for £115pp which I think is really good. I guess Marbella is more of a place you go on holiday for a week, but would it be ok for a short 4 night break? also they are going in mid April so what would the weather be like? Not too fussed about it being scorching but would be nice to send them somewhere thats sunny and low 20s or something.
Also any other suggestions for places would be great, I have a budget of around £300 and looking for 3/4 nights.

Oh I probably should add, they are not clubbers so would be looking for somewhere with nice food maybe a few bars for a few drinks, shopping and also relaxation.Disneyland Paris (Dream Castle) - January 2010

Buy them a big tent and send them on a ryan air flight to Faro - they'll have a whale of a timeIf a man does not keep pace with his companions, then perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music he hears, however measured or far away. thoreau0

I've been twice, both times for long weekends. The first time was February and was t-shirt weather (for us, anyway - the locals were in coats!) but certainly not hot. Last year I went in April and we had a couple of hot sunbathing days, the other days were cooler (bit of rain too), but still pleasant.
Where is the hotel you're looking at? Some are right on the harbour in the middle of everything - bars, retaurants - others are further away and would require taxis to get to the main area where the beach is too.
There's definitely something for everyone there, whether that's heavy drinking or a more classy, relaxed break.
Be aware though that it is expensive; we're talking roughyl 10 Euros for one alcoholic drink.0
