    Importantly, as it's asking for money back from the supplier's bank, not the supplier itself, the money should come back even if the retailer has gone bust — though this isn't guaranteed.
    That said, it's hardly a surprise that you don't like s.75 and prefer processing chargeback instead as in this case it's usually some other bank that pays, not yours (in some cases it can be the same bank).

    I could not care less which method is used, its not my money.

    End of the day I go for which is going to be quick and easy for the cm.

    Which with a co going bust can be as little as, giving me a few details over the phone and a credit in a couple of days, with retailer having 45 days to contest.
    Or S75, which customer has to send in T/C and document the situation. Which will have to include a letter from administrators before its even looked at.
    Then can take a couple of months while its thrashed with administrators to see if any money can be recovered.
