Hi I bought a coco phone handset for DH to use on skype.
It claims that it will work with skype but it only has 1 jack pin.
What do I need so that it can be connected to the laptop and be used like a 'proper' phone?

According to an Ebay seller "whenfitted with a USB adaptor can be used for VOIP computer telephone calls"
Think you need to ask the seller, can't find a single 3.5mm plug to USB adapter.0 -
I find newer laptops only have a combined audio + mic port (like on phones) which is why there is only a single jack.
if your laptop still has separate jacks for headphones / mic ports you'll need something like this

THank you so much for looking... I came to the same conclusion and then wondered if it needs two wires that split the jack ie 1 wire to the mic socket and 1 to the headphone socket.
If this thing had a name I could search for it ....

Cheaper from eBay taking delivery into account. There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
It's for the many and not the few. Be sure it's out there looking for you.
In every town, in every state. In every house and every gate.
Wth every precious smile you make. And every act of kindness.
