EDF refusing to refund credit amount and give review date

Have to say I agree tho, why not just switch to a supplier that is less hassle?
I suggest better to address the E7 issue first. It is risky to switch away in the face of an unresolved billing issue.
Also there is a big downside to switching supplier just for the sake of it. The statutory reporting of annual consumption only kicks in after 12 months and the OP's case is nearly there as should the 'annual review' be. To switch now resets the projected consumption to a suppliers particular assumption, which can include estimation or seasonal weighting to the consumer's disadvantage.0 -
Just an update to anyone who is interested, should be getting a refund in the next 5 days and the DD is at £37 to cover any possible increase next winter or in the summer but will be refunded if credit amount gets too high.
Parents are also now on the priority list.0
