In all honesty that is why I often quote posts or PB them.
At least that way we have continuity of thought & we can see what has developed?

yes, thank you. i will definitely bear that in mind for next time. there is another comp on the blog that i initially came to post but i don't feel comfortable doing so now. just wanted to give a heads up.

I'm really, really sad to have logged in & seen our blog has been spammed out

We had absolutely no idea that everton was posting and he did so with kindness. Yes we know him but we would NEVER ask anyone to post for us as we know, very well, the rule on self promotion.

I'm genuinely heartbroken at this. I would never, ever report a fellow comper, ever & although I realise there are rules that we need to adhere to, there is also forum etiquette.

If we were self promoting, if we were selling things & making a profit then it would be different, of course, but we're a blog that's less than one month old that we're running for various reasons, including informative posts in the hope of helping people.

As for the competitions, we run quite a few of these & they come out of OUR pocket for fun as we know how much we all love entering them and thought it would be nice for fellow compers.

I have always stuck to the rules of the board, always. I have made some brilliant friends through MSE which makes this all the more sad

I'm not at all bothered about our site not being posted but I am bothered, and very hurt that we've been marked as spam when in reality our site is anything but
