    A quick update...... a couple of weeks ago The Child went into town with a load of CVs and three hours later had herself a job! She can't start til after her 16th birthday (today!!!) so she's filled in her online thing and is waiting for her induction!

    Does she have a national insurance number yet?

    My first ever job was babysitting at 14/15 then I worked at the co-op and body shop and then tesco all up to 17. Even if she can get a couple of one off job, she can start putting things down on her CV. Do you know anyone would could give her some paid work experience just to get her started?

    Sealife centre employed me at 15 after i finished my gcses, im not sure if you're covered by minimum wage at that age though!
