(I have posted this in TV section but 121 views but sadly no responses)
Due to the location of hub and television, I am reluctant to run a cable through the house to access the iplayer/youview functions of the Humax box.
Can anyone recommend a wireless dongle that can do this for me? I see Humax have one but they seem expensive.
Understand this works
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B...A1D873RMPMIV2C
But can I be a real girlie and ask if anyone could recommend one in black (it would stick out like a sore thumb!!!)
Many thanks

Which Humax box have you got? I doubt the one you posted the link for will work with a foxsat-hdr but I am not sure.4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex . Aint no sunshine ☀️ Octopus gas fixed dec 24 @ 5.74 tracker again+ Octopus Intelligent Flux leccy0

I use one of the EW - 7711 based dongles on a HDR-FOX T2 OK
BUT various forums seem to indicate the Foxsat one doesn't support wi-fi ?
So you will probably need to use HomePlugs /Power line adaptors to the signal via your mains wiring0 -
This one for me

Then I feel you are out of luck, you need homeplugs / ethernet cable or a wifi extender with ethernet sockets. I can't say for the 1000s
Just looked at the 1000s box and that seems to be the same4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex . Aint no sunshine ☀️ Octopus gas fixed dec 24 @ 5.74 tracker again+ Octopus Intelligent Flux leccy0 -
