Good evening
I have a Toshiba laptop Satellite, running on Vista. Quite recently when booting up I have been faced with a blank screen, with the Windows theme audible. After 2 or 3 boot up attempts I finally get the normal boot up graphics and everything is fine. I recently updated drivers using SlimDrivers programme. Any ideas what the problem might be...

Are you saying the problems started after you used SlimDrivers?
If so, system restore to a point before you used SlimDrivers.0 -
Mmm tried that but the restore failed for some reason...Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0

System restore failing in normal mode is sometimes due to interference from other programs. Norton is a notable one.

You may have more success in safe mode. One downside to this is that restorations done in safe mode cannot be undone as they can be in normal mode.0 -
